A very, very slow day — and I traded it like one. I stayed patient the whole morning, no forcing in the chop, all the way until 11:00, then took a single short. The bias was right — a roughly 300-point move lower followed exactly the direction I called. But the trade only paid a breakeven before that move delivered: near-perfect execution, just one of those days where you get the read and the market hands you nothing to bank. A BE on a correct call isn't a failure — it's the cost of doing business. Great day to grow discipline and patience.

MNQ 1m (with NQ 1H + ES 5m) · patient all morning, then a single short in the 10:50–11:10 macro toward the 1st Target below
The entry was textbook: price swept the 1H BSL, printed the LTF CISD, and I had SMT with ES confirming the divergence — a clean short in the direction of the bias, toward the 1st Target at 29,116. It delivered part of the way, I did the right thing and moved my stop to breakeven to protect it, and the retracement tagged me out before the real leg. Then the ~300-point move I was positioned for finally went — without me on board. Nothing about that entry or that management was wrong.Some days the sequence is right and the reward just isn't there.
A Breakeven Is Not A Failure
You can do everything right and still bank nothing — and that's fine.
The whole point of the reset is to separate process from outcome, and today is a perfect specimen of it. I waited out a dead morning without forcing a single mediocre trade, I took one clean setup in my window, I managed the risk correctly, and my directional read was proven right by a 300-point move. The scoreboard says +0. The process says A. On a slow, low-opportunity day, a breakeven with your discipline fully intact is a quiet win — the kind that keeps the account flat instead of red while you wait for the days that actually pay.
